The Haven of The Wild is a sister property to the award winning zoological facility nearby, The Wild Animal Park. The Haven is growing to be a unique, high-end resort unlike any other, featuring luxury accommodations like our Big Cat Bungalows - where you can experience staying the night face to face with tigers or lions just beyond your glass walls. Or, immerse yourself in the wild beauty of our Luxury African Tents (Coming Soon!), which border a breathtaking African savanna habitat, home to herds of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and other African species. This savanna also provides a breathtaking backdrop for our brand new, 15,000-square-foot Wedding & Event Center, that has been thoughtfully designed to elevate life’s most memorable moments.
At The Haven, our goal is to combine life’s most cherished moments—weddings, getaways & other special events—with the wonder of wildlife. Having worked closely with hundreds of species over the years, we’ve seen firsthand the joy, connection, and education that animals inspire in people. That is the heart of what we do: offering experiences that bring you closer to wildlife in ways you’ve never imagined.
Of course, the animals always come first in everything we do. They are not here for entertainment but to inspire awe and provide meaningful connections. Their well-being is at the center of every decision we make. From our award-winning enclosures to our incredible animal care staff, we go above and beyond to ensure our animals live enriched, fulfilling lives.
The animals at our facility are here for a greater purpose—not for entertainment, but to serve as ambassadors for their wild counterparts. All of our animals here at The Haven & The Wild Animal Park were born in human care and can not be released into the wild for their safety and survival. Many species, especially lions and tigers, face severe threats in the wild, including habitat destruction, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. By giving them a safe, enriched environment where they receive the highest level of care, we not only provide them with exceptional lives, but we also give people the opportunity to see them up close in a unique way—fostering a connection that inspires action to protect their wild counterparts.
